Interesting Fact: My brother Benjamin and I are both striving to make it to the big leagues of racing; Benjamin as a crew chief and myself as a driver. Whomever makes it first is going to help the other. We hope to work together on the same team.

Jeremy Frankoski is a young rising star who is already known for his ability to quickly adapt and win in any type of race car or track. He is highly competitive and has established a solid record of success with over 40 feature wins to his credit. Jeremy is easily recognized by his good sportsmanship, clean passing and exciting side by side racing that has generated widespread appeal across the racing landscape.

In 2007 Jeremy had an impressive winning season in the Power Point Racing, #99 Marine Engines midget - earning the Rookie of the Year Title in the NEMA (North Eastern Midget Association) Series.  Jeremy generated a lot of interest when he won at Beech Ridge and became one of only three drivers in NEMA’s 55 year history to win in their rookie season.  He also established a new NEMA record by achieving the win in only six races!

Jeremy also qualified for and finished in the top three of the 2007 All American Driver Challenge, which included qualifying for a position to be among 60 drivers from all over the USA. After competing in front of judges, he was chosen as a top three finalist to be awarded a chance at a full time USAC Midget ride sponsored by Calico Coatings.

Longer term, Jeremy is heading towards a bright future in the sport. As a racing star who is proving himself in open wheel racing, Jeremy has his sights set on the top professional levels. Fueled by an amazing passion for racing that has never let up, plus the confidence and drive that keeps him focused; Jeremy Frankoski is on a mission to win!

RACING CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

2008

NEMA (North Eastern Midget Association)

Drove first half of ’08 NEMA season for TSR Motorsports in the #63 Midget . Contributed to TSR motorsports NEMA  1st heat win, top 5 feature finish and first podium finish (top three). Brought the team to 5th place in NEMA Points. Drove the #47b Bertrand Motorsports Midget in the Boston Louie Memorial Classic. Set second fast time, finished 4th in event after starting 14th with an inverted start.  Jeremy’s impressive performance gained him the driving position for  the 47b for the remainder of the 2008 NEMA season.

Advancing His Career

•Attended the "Driver Advancement Marketing Summit" in Charlotte, NC in February 2008. Learned from top speakers in the industry how to properly and effectively market yourself as a driver and represent your sponsors to advance his professional career.

Teamed up with Annamarie Malfitana-Strawhand, a professional motorsports marketing and image consultant, and owner of Drive-In Webdesign. She will be managing his PR, web site and marketing, as well as assisting him with sponsorship, and consulting him in his career.

2007

NEMA Midget Tour

•At age 20, Jeremy was recruited by Power Point Racing to drive the Marine Engines sponsored #99 midget.

•After difficulty with mechanical issues in the team’s first races, Jeremy exploded onto the NEMA scene when he captured a record breaking win at Beech Ridge.

•Fewest races before winning in NEMA’s 55 Year History.

•Only the third rookie to ever win a race.

•First win for the Marine Engines, Power Point race team.

•Executed a daring three wide pass at Thompson to win his heat.

•Went on to post three “Top 3” finishes, eight “Top 10” finishes and three more heat wins.

•Selected as the Richard Petty Driving Experience Top Rookie at the “Boston Louie.”

•Turned the fastest lap of all 4 races held at Seekonk.

•Selected as Circle Track Magazine – Young Racers Club, Driver of the Month for November 2007.

•Honored as the 2007 NEMA Rookie of the Year.

 

2007

All American Driver Challenge

•Qualified “Top 10” after two days of competition at Andretti Indoor Karting with judges that included Bones Bourcier, Rick Benjamin and John Andretti.

•Received coaching and instruction from Bob East and drove the Calico Coatings USAC Ford Focus Midget at Hickory Motor Speedway.

•Achieved 4th fastest lap time and was one of three drivers to receive a second interview by the judges.

•Received extensive media coverage including TV, internet and print.

•Only non-winning driver to receive an honorable mention in an article on Calico Coatings published in the NCMA Tools of Our Trade 2007 Desk Reference.

•Invited to drive the Calico Coatings back up midget at the 2007 USAC Ford Focus Carolina season finale. Although Jeremy made the trip, this event was rained out and eventually cancelled.

2006

Sold His Street Car to Buy a Race Car!

•Jeremy sold his slingshot and his Chevy Cavalier to raise enough money to buy a 600 mini-sprint.

•Jeremy had to “bum” a lot of rides including one all the way to Florida for the January 2007 East Bay Winter Nationals!

•He went on to collect one feature win, 4 heat wins and 12 “Top Ten” finishes in a financially constrained 2006 season.

2005

Mini-Sprint Crew Chief and Driver

•Employed by CGR as a full time crew chief.  Maintained spare parts inventories and prepared two 250 mini-sprints & one 600 mini-sprint for weekly racing.

•Led the team to 7 feature wins across dirt tracks in the North East.

•Also drove a limited schedule of 6 races garnering one feature win, three additional top five finishes and two heat wins.

•Attended Smiley Sitton’s Outlaw Driving School.  Set up and drove a J&J 410 sprint car.

•Assembled and set-up CGR’s new J&J 360 sprint car for testing sessions. 

2001 - 2004

Tobias Slingshots

•Jeremy raced on dirt with Tobias Slingshots beginning in 2001 at age 14. He continued to have responsibility for maintenance and set ups and at 16 began hauling the car to the track, competing as an owner-driver.

•Finished  2nd in points at Davenport Speedway (rookie year) and moved up to the highly competitive Briggs and Stratton Tour (NY) where he finished 3rd in 2002, 4th in 2003 & 2nd in 2004.

•Won all three Briggs and Stratton “North-South Shoot Out” races in 2004 at Penn Can, Five Mile Point & Thunder Mountain Speedway.

•Awarded the Briggs and Stratton series Rising Star in 2001, Best Appearing Car in 2003 & OpenWheelRacing.com Driver of the Month in June 2004.

•Over four successful years on dirt, Jeremy totaled 19 Feature wins,  34 “Top 5” finishes & 19 heat wins. 

 

1996 - 2000

NYSMA Microds (3 and 5 hp)

•Jeremy began racing microds on a dirt track when he was 9 years old.  At 10, he raced on both dirt and asphalt and eventually was a member of 3 different clubs.

•Over 5 years, Jeremy racked up18 heat wins, 13 pole qualifications, 17 feature wins, 2 “Championship Race” wins and 2 Track Championships.

•Jeremy was always involved in basic maintenance such as changing engine oil after each race and became responsible for winter tear down and rebuilds by the time he was 11.  Jeremy went on to master engine overhauls and made modifications for more horsepower by age 13.
